Local Soil Options
“Dirt” is not one product.
Current Aledo-source options include several soils with different uses. Availability changes, so tell us the job or the exact product name and we will confirm stock before pickup.
Fill Dirt
General fill for low areas, rough grading and non-structural property work where premium topsoil is unnecessary.
Screened Topsoil
Processed soil for lawns, landscape areas, finish grading and applications where a more consistent texture matters.
Sandy Topsoil
Topsoil with a sandier profile for landscaping, grading and yard improvement applications.
Enriched Sandy Topsoil
Landscape soil with added organic value for planting and lawn applications.
Black Gumbo Clay
Clay-heavy soil used where its particular texture and water-holding behavior fit the project.
Garden & Bedding Soils
Garden Mix, Bedding Soil, Bedding Soil with Lava Sand and other prepared landscape blends when available.
Choosing Dirt
Match the soil to what it has to do.
Rough grading, lawn installation, planting beds and structural fill are different jobs. Common fill may work for low areas; finish landscaping often benefits from screened or enriched soil; engineered pads or structural backfill may require a specified and tested material.
If a contractor or engineer specified a product, send that requirement with the quote request rather than substituting a generic soil.
Delivery Details

Dirt Delivery FAQ
Before you order.
What type of dirt do I need?
For general low areas or rough grading, fill dirt may work. Landscaping often needs topsoil or an enriched blend, while engineered pads or structural backfill may require specified fill. The project use determines the material.
How do I estimate fill dirt quantity?
Calculate the volume of the area being filled and account for compaction. The material calculator gives a starting cubic-yard estimate.
Do you deliver screened topsoil?
Yes, when available. Screened topsoil, sandy topsoil, enriched sandy topsoil and several landscape blends are among the current local sourcing options.
Do you deliver dirt across Parker County?
Yes. Parker County is the primary service area, including Weatherford, Aledo, Willow Park and Hudson Oaks.
